Fashion + Self-Love – A Valentine’s Day Blog Party.
Online Valentine’s Day Blog Party with Giveaways.
14 Days of Fashion and Self-Care.
February is a month in which many people celebrate romantic love, but forget to love themselves. Self-love is crucial; it gives us healthy confidence and makes it easier to truly love others.
Fashion is an industry often rife with insecurity. Glossy magazine covers and beautiful models can make many of us feel lesser. Both in our own eyes and our idea of the eyes of others. We feel like we need to measure up. But that should NOT be the case! Can it be different? I believe so, and so do my 14 guest-bloggers you’ll be meeting very soon!
This blog party will be celebrating self-love through fashion.
This event will take place within the 14 days leading up to Valentine’s. We will be celebrating varieties of beauty and learning how to better love ourselves for who we are and how we express ourselves!
Starting on February 1st, 2018, one guest blogger a day will be speaking to you about how you can overcome insecurity and embrace the beautiful, unique individual you are. You’ll be able to find all of these posts here on Story Behind The Cloth.
P.S., there will be games and prizes!
What will the blog posts be about?
The details are a secret! But each post will correlate fashion and self-love together. They could be about:
❤How clothing, the fashion industry, or beauty standards can cause a lack of self-love…And how to conquer that.
❤Ways you can use clothing to better love and uplift yourself.
❤Ways people misuse clothing as a way of giving false self-love (Like unhealthy shopping habits being used as a coping mechanism)…And how to gain better control and make better use of our clothing and money.
❤An outfit that symbolizes love to the writer and why. Plus what love means to them.
❤Mental health and fashion. Anything on how the two do or do not go well together.

Great article! I love self care posts and read them whenever I can.
This sounds like a great blog party. I hate how the fashion industry, and Hollywood has killed women’s self esteem!
Thank you! We’re so excited planning the event!
It really does suck how fashion marketing has been used so often to make women and young girls feel like they aren’t good enough… It worked for sales, but it wreaks havoc on hearts…Which is truly disgusting!
